AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1650, SECTION
12 RELATING TO VIOLATION OF HANDICAPPED PARKING,
PERMIT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That Section 12 of Ordinance No. 1650 is amended to read as
Violation of handicapped parking permit.
It is a parking infraction, with a monetary penalty as provided for in RCW
46.16.381 (7), as amended for any persons to park a vehicle in a parking
place provided on private property without charge or on public property
reserved for physically disabled persons without a special license plate of
placard issued pursuant to RCW 46.16.381 or RCW 46.16.390. If a
persons is charged with a violation, the person shall not be determined to
have committed an infraction if the person produces in court or before the
court appearance the special license plate or placard required under this
section.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard and signed by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this h day of July, 1998.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1650, SECTION
12, RELATING TO VIOLATION OF HANDICAPPPED PARKING
PERMIT.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1720 are available for review at the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text
of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty
days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1720 will be provided at a nominal
charge.
