1735 - Ordinance - Repealing Ordinance 1703, Amending Ordinance 1729 Building Codes AdoptedORDINANCE NO. 1735
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1703 and
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1729, Section 2(d) (P.O.M.C.
15.04.010) BUILDING CODES ADOPTED.
WHEREAS, it has been found that as some specific ordinances were updated in
the past, the prior ordinance(s) may not have been repealed in an appropriate manner, in whole or
in part, and
WHEREAS, it is the city's desire to correct this error and void potential conflict that
may have been created within the Port Orchard Municipal Code, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. REPEALER. The following is hereby repealed:
Ordinance No. 1703, enacted December 22 1997.
Section 2. That Section 2(d) of Ordinance No. 1729, (P.O.M.C. 15.04.010) is
amended to read as follows:
(d) 109.1: DELETE EXCEPTION: Group R, Division 3 Occupancy.

Copies of Ordinance No. 1735 are available for review at the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text
of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty
days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1735 will be provided at a nominal
charge.
