ORDINANCE
The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the Port Orchard City Council at their regular
Council meeting held December 28, 1998.
ORDINANCE NO. 1751
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR
1998, ORDERING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS AND
AUTHORIZING A BUDGETARY TRANSFER.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1751 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port
Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any
interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1751 will be
provided at a nominal charge.

ORDINANCE NO. 1751
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1998,
ORDERING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING A
BUDGETARY TRANSFER.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following appropriations of revenue received in excess of
anticipated amounts, from other financing sources, grants, interfund loans and unencumbered
portions of fund balances are hereby ordered:
(a) An amount of $100,000.00 to Current Expense Fund for
General Government Department Services, Police
Department and Fire Department.
(b) An amount of $161,800.00 to the Street Fund.
(c) An amount of $1,400.00 to the Cumulative Reserve for
Equipment Replacement Fund.
(d) An amount of $22,000.00 to the Water -Sewer Equipment '
Replacement Fund.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard and signed by the Mayor
and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 28t y of December, 1998.
