1583 - Ordinance - Vacating Portion of Alder LaneNOTICE OF CITY OF PORT ORCHARD ORDINANCE The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the Port Orchard City Council at their regular Council meeting held June 14, 1993. ORDINANCE NO. 1583 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1490, TO AMEND THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION THEREIN WHICH VACATED A PORTION OF ALDER LANE. Copies of Ordinance No. 1583 are available for review at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1583 will be provided at a nominal charge. City of Port Orchard Michelle Hager Deputy Clerk a Publish: Port Orchard Independent June 23, 1993 ORDINANCE NO. 1583 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1490 TO AMEND THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION THEREIN WHICH VACATED A PORTION OF ALDER LANE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard vacated the west half of a portion of Alder Lane prior to the construction of the Group Health Facility; and WHEREAS, the current survey by a professional land surveyor has provided a more detailed information for the legal description of the approved survey. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: THAT: a portion of Alder Lane further described herein which was vacated by Ordinance No. 1490 shall be described by the amended legal description: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Situated in Section 34, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, Kitsap County: the west half of the City of Port Orchard street called Alder Lane, starting at Tremont Street for the length of 398.343 feet northeasterly as measured on the centerline of Alder Lane, with the north margin being perpendicular to the centerline.
