1545 - Ordinance - Rescind Zone Classification-225 SidneyORDINANCE NO. 1545 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD . REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1470 TO RESCIND A ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF MULTIPLE FAMILY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 225 SIDNEY AVENUE. WHEREAS, property located at 225 Sidney Avenue was reclassified from Residential High to Multiple Family on October 9, 1989. WHEREAS, the project as originally approved by the City Council is not complete, nor was it substantially under construction within the required 18 month time limit. WHEREAS, the property owner has failed to meet the requirements of substantial progress as defined within Zoning Ordinance No. 1469. CONCLUSION: The City Council does therefore conclude that based upon failure to meet conditions stated within Chapter 10, Section B1 of Ordinance No. 1469, which replaced Ordinance No. 1163, Chapter 29 Section C1, the zone reclassification of Multiple Family for property located at 225 Sidney Avenue should revert to Residential High. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained that the City of Port Orchard hereby repeals Ordinance No. 1470, and hereby reverts the zone classification for property located at 225 Sidney Avenue from Multiple Family to Residential High.
