AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1469,
CHAPTER THIRTEEN (Fee schedule)
WHEREAS, The City has established various land use
development permits as described in Ordinance 1469, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish new land
use development fees for the purpose of further recovering costs
incurred in the review of development applications, and;
WHEREAS, the current fees were established several years
ago and are now considered inadequate to defray costs, and;
WHEREAS, it is deemed more administratively efficient to
establish all land use development fees within one resolution as
opposed to several; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1469, Chapter thirteen is
hereby amended to read as follows:
FEE SCHEDULE: The fees for the purpose of
defraying the costs incidental to the
proceedings for applications herein shall be
established and set forth by City Council
Resolution.
SECTION 2. THAT capital facility projects constructed
by the City are exempt from development review fees,
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
authorization of such passage this 24th day of June, 1991.
