ORDINANCE NO. 1501
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
RELATING TO AND PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD.
WHEREAS, the Church of the Nazarene, et al, owners of the real
property hereinafter described, according to the assessed valuation per general
taxation, have petitioned the Council of the City of Port Orchard that said
territory be annexed to and become a part of the City of Port Orchard; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Review, as required by law, has been convened
and has made the determination that it is in favor of the annexation of the
area hereinafter described; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix Wednesday, December 26, 1990 at
the hour of 8:15 P.M., for the Public Hearing on said petition and the Clerk of
the City of Port Orchard did give notice of said hearing in the manner provided
by law; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting on
the 26th day of December, 1990 did hold a hearing on said petition and
unanimously approved the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, DOES
ORDAIN, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described territory contiguous to
the City of Port Orchard be, and the same hereby is, annexed to the City of
Port Orchard and from and after the effective date of this Ordinance, shall be
and become a part of the City of Port Orchard, subject to all the laws and
ordinances thereof, the said territory being more particularly described as
follows: Legal Description - Exhibit No. 1
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard,
APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 26th day of December, 1990.

That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 2,
Township 23 North, Range 1 East, W.M., in Kitsap County, Washington, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 2; thence South
88056'34" East along the South line of said Section 2 a distance of
20.01 feet to the East line of the West 20 feet of the Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 2 being the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 2°24'59" East along said East line
a distance of 689.33 feet to the South line of the North 630 feet of
the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 2;
thence South 89°02'10" East parallel with the North line of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 2 a
distance of 302.00 feet; thence South 2°24'59" West 50.02 feet to
the South line of the North 680 feet of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of said Section 2; thence South 89002'10" East
