AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON DESIGNATING PORT ORCHARD BOULEVARD
AS A LIMITED ACCESS ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Port Orchard Boulevard was constructed as an
arterial road for the community, and
WHEREAS, the City has maintained the policy that there would
be no access allowed on to Port Orchard Boulevard,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ordained by the City Council of
the City of Port Orchard, Washington that:
Port Orchard Boulevard from High Street to Tremont Street is
declared to be a limited access road.
No driveway, curb cut or other means of access for a motor
vehicle shall be allowed on to Port Orchard Boulevard. The only exceptions
to this prohibition on access is that the existing driveways which serve 701
Port Orchard Boulevard and 413 West Avenue shall remain.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this
27th day of November, 1989. _

The following is a summary of an Ordinance approved by the
Port Orchard City Council at their regular Council meeting
held November 27, 1989.
ORDINANCE NO. 1478
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON DESIGNATING PORT
ORCHARD BOULEVARD AS A LIMITED ACCESS
ROAD.
Copies of Ordinance No. 1478 are available for review at the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Port Orchard. Upon
written request a statement of the full text of the Ordinance
will be mailed to any interested person without charge. Thirty
days after publication, copies of Ordinance No. 1478 will be
provided at a nominal charge.
