AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON AMENDING PORT
ORCHARD ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1163; BY
AMENDING THE AREA AND USE MAPS
THEREOF, RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN
PROPERTY (City of Port Orchard, owner
of record) LOCATED ON OLD CLIFTON
ROAD WEST OF SR 16
WHEREAS, City of Port Orchard, owner of record,
has petitioned a zoning ordinance amendment, requesting
reclassification of property located on Old Clifton Road west
of SR 16, as described in said petition, and
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard Planning
Commission has transmitted to the Council of the City of Port
Orchard, Washington a copy of their Resolution No. 101-88
recommending approval of said petition, and
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Port Orchard
did hold a Public Hearing on August 22, 1988 to hear
testimony of fact and conclusion as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained that the Council
of the City of Port Orchard, Washington does hereby adopt
Planning Commission Resolution No. 101-88 with Findings of
Facts and Conclusions (excluding recommended condition - that
any changes in the use of the property be subject to a Public
Hearing before both Planning Commission and the City Council)
(Resolution No. 101-88 available in City Clerk's Office) as
their own and does hereby reclassify certain property located
on Old Clifton Road west of SR 16 from Green Belt to Public
Property.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 34, Township
24N, Range 1 E, W.M., the SW1/4, SW1/4
and the SE1/4, SW1/4 except that portion
conveyed to Kitsap County per Auditors
File No. 959191 defined as follows:
Beginning at the S1/4 corner said section
thence along the South line thereof North
88*17'27"W 369.05 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence North 88*17'27" West
760 feet to the easterly margin of Old
Clifton Road; thence along said margin
North 22*55'10" East 712.72 feet to
beginning of a curve to the right having
a radius of 686.20 feet; thence 38.5 feet
along the arc of said curve thru a C/A of
00*12'54"; thence South 88*17'27"E 477.04
feet; thence along a line parallel with
the North/S,outh centerline of said
Section 34 South 00*52'34"W 700 feet to
the true point of beginning except the
South 30 feet thereof and except those
portions deeded for SR 16 Tremont Street
Interchange per Auditors File No.
8507240064.
