AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
WASHINGTON, RELATING TO ITS WATERWORKS
UTILITY, SPECIFYING AND ADOPTING A PLAN
OF AN ADDITION AND BETTERMENT OF THE
WATERWORKS UTILITY OF THE CITY, SPECIFICALLY
TO PLAN, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT A SLUDGE DE -
WATERING FACILITY; DECLARING THAT NO REVENUE
BONDS WILL BE ISSUED AND THAT NO GENERAL
INDEBTEDNESS WILL BE INCURRED AND DECLARING
THE ESTIMATED COST THEREOF TO BE APPROXIMATELY
$700,000.00
THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City specifies and adopts a plan of
addition and betterment of the Waterworks Utility by the planning,
designing and constructing of a sludge dewatering facility to
serve the City and Sewer District No. 5.
Section 2. The estimated costs of the planning,
designing and constructing of the sludge dewatering facility
is declared to be as nearly as may be, the sum of $700,000.00
and such estimated cost shall be met and defrayed from the
following sources:
Referendum 39 funds to be received from the
State of Washington, Department of Ecology.
Funds from the Wastewater Facility Improve-
ment Construction Fund.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor of the City of Port Orchard, this 13th day of January,
