AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
ADOPTING THE 1986, WASHINGTON STATE ENERGY
CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The 1986 edition of the Washington State
Energy Code, Chapter 51-12, Washington Administrative Code, is
adopted by this reference pursuant to the provisions of RCW
35.21.180 as the official energy code of the City.
SECTION 2. The effective date for the energy code
is April 1, 1986. All City building permits issued before
April 1, 1986 shall comply with the 1980 edition of the Wash-
ington State Energy Code.
SECTION 3. The City Building Official, or his designee,
shall administer and enforce the provisions of the City Energy
Code.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor
of the City of Port Orchard, this loth day of February, 1986.
