AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
AMENDING PORT ORCHARD ZONING ORDINANCE
NO. 1163; BY AMENDING THE AREA AND USE
MAPS THEREOF, RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY
(Ronald Olson, owner of record) LOCATED ON
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SIDNEY AVENUE AND
LIPPERT STREET
WHEREAS, Ronald Olson, owner of record has petitioned
a zoning ordinance amendment, requesting reclassification of
property located on the northwest corner of Sidney Avenue
and Lippert Street, as described in said petition,
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard Planning
Commission has transmitted to the Council of the City of
Port Orchard, Washington a copy of their Resolution No. 024-83
recommending approval of said petition, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Port Orchard
did hold a public hearing on April 11, 1983 as required to
hear testimony and review materials presented and does set
forth findings of fact and conclusion as follows:
FINDINGS OF FACT: The property adjacent
on the south and east are Zoned Commercial
General, the property adjacent on the north
is zoned Residential High.
The proposed use of this property is not
incompatible with other uses in.area,
CONCLUSION: Based on testimony, materials
presented and findings of fact, the Port
Orchard City Council does hereby conclude
that granting this zone reclassification
would not be detrimental to the health,
safety, morals and general welfare of this
community.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained that the Council
of the City of Port Orchard does hereby reclassify certain
property (described as follows) from Residential High to
Multiple Family 20.

signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication

as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Section 2;
thence along the north line of Section 2, south 87032'40"
east 1185.65 ft; thence south 20°47'35" west 347.56 ft;
thence south 87832'40" east 20 ft to the true point of
beginning; thence continuing south 87°32'40" east 412.28 ft
to the westerly margin of Sidney Road; thence along said
margin south 22040'50" west 179.84 ft to the intersection
of the westerly margin of Sidney Road and the northerly
margin of Lippert Drive; thence along said northerly
margin of Lippert Drive north 88°01'58" west 366.27 ft;
thence north 7049'23" east 172.63 ft to the point of
beginning.
