AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD CREATING A "SPECIAL
INVESTIGATIVE UNIT (SIU) FUND"
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCEPTING
MONIES FOR POLICE INVESTIGATIONS
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby created a Special
Investigative Unit (SIU) Fund into which monies shall be
placed as received from Court judgements.
Section 2. The Treasurer of the City of Port
Orchard is hereby directed to place said monies into a
Special Revenue Fund entitled "Special Investigative
Unit (SIU) Fund.
Section 3. The purpose of maintaining said fund
is to accept judgement monies to be used in various police
investigations.
Sectiort 4. Disbursements from said fund will be
to set up, and then maintain on a replenishment basis, the
SIU imprest fund.
Section 5. That there be authorized 1986 budget
revenues and expenditures of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00).
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard, signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 24th day of November,
1986.
