AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE NEED
FOR CONDEMNATION OF PARCELS OF
LAND IN AND THROUGH CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CON-
STRUCTING THE PORT ORCHARD BY-PASS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That for the public health, safety and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Port Orchard, said city has
entered into a project to construct the Port Orchard By -Pass and
has caused to be prepared general and specific plans therefore.
Section 2. To accomplish the said project, it is
necessary to acquire the permanent easement described on Exhibit
A, incorporated herein.
Section 3. The City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to proceed immediately with the condemnation of the
above -described property in the Superior Court for the State of
Washington at Kitsap County.
Section 4. The subject property will be paid for
in part through use of general funds of the city, and through
federal and state grant loans.

Washington.
