AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE NEED FOR
CONDEMNATION OF PARCELS OF LAND IN
AND THROUGH CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING THE
PORT ORCHARD BY-PASS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That for the public health, safety and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Port Orchard, said
city has entered into a project to construct the Port Orchard
By -Pass and has caused to be prepared general and specific
plans therefore.
SECTION 2. To accomplish the said project, it is
necessary to acquire the real property and temporary
construction easements described on the attached Exhibits A,
B and C, incorporated herein.
SECTION 3. The City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to proceed immediately with the condenmation of
the above -described property in the Superior Court for the
State of Washington at Kitsap County.
SECTION 4, The subject property will be paid for
in part through use of general funds of the city, and through
federal and state grants and loans.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this 12th day of December, 1983.
