1130 - Ordinance - Amending Ordinance No. 1118 POMC 10.64 Waterfront Parking lotORDINANCE NO. 1130 i-� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1118 (PORT ORCHARD MUNICIPAL CODE 10.64.010) DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND AUTHORIZING REVISION TO WATERFRONT PARKING LOT. THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DOES ORDAIN: Ordinance No. 1118 (Port Orchard Municipal Code 10.64.110) is hereby amended to read as follows: 10.64.110 Schedule VII - Parking time limit on certain streets and public parking lots. In accordance with Section 10.64.060, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for a period of time longer than three hours between the hours of eight a.m. and eight p.m. of any day except Sundays and public holidays within the district or upon any of the streets or parts of streets as follows: PUBLIC PARKING LOTS, except those areas listed below: The waterfront parking lot shall consist of three areas which are designated for clarification purposes as Lot 1 which lies between Orchard and Frederick Streets, Lot 2 which lies between Frederick and Sidney Streets and Lot 3 which is the paved area east of Sidney Street. Parking in Lots 1 and 3 is subject to a monetary charge. No parking is allowed in Lot 1 and the westerly sixteen spaces of Lot 3 (designated as nine (9) hour parking) between the hours of seven a.m. and eight a.m. Parking at other hours will require a payment of Fifty Cents ($.50) in United States currency for each nine hour interval or part thereof. Parking in Lot 2 is designated as follows: First southerly row one (1) hour parking. Second southerly row two (2) hour parking and the remaining two (2) northerly rows three (3) hour parking. Parking in Lot 3 will require the payment of One Dollar ($1.00) in United States currency for each twelve- hour interval or part thereof between the hours of six a.m. and six p.m., Monday - Friday. There exists, and is hereby declared to exist, an emergency; and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the citizens of Port Orchard, and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage and publication.
