AMENDING CITY OF PORT ORCHARD ZONING
ORDINANCE NO. 899; BY AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP THEROF, RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY
THEREON
WHEREAS, Iliad, Inc., owner of record has
initated a zoning ordinance amendment, requesting
reclassification of property described in said petition,
and all legal requirements have been performed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard Planning
Commission has transmitted to the Council of the City of
Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington, a copy of the
City of Port Orchard Planning Commission's findings and
action recommending that the Zoning Map be amended for
the reasons stated therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Council
of the City of Port Orchard does hereby adopt the findings
and recommendations of the Planning Commission as it's own
and reclassify certain property to Commercial General with
conditions as follows:
1. Iliad, Inc. may obtain domestic and fire
flow water from Annapolis Water District
contingent upon Iliad, Inc. signing an
agreement with the City of Port Orchard
stating Iliad or its assigns will hook-up
to Port Orchard water at such time as
adequate fire flow and domestic water is
accessible to their property located at
1730 & 1750 SR160. Iliad, Inc. must also
agree to pay all applicable fees at time of
hooking up to City of Port Orchard water.
2. Land will revert to the zoning classification
it had prior to the rezone if construction on
a propject is not started within 18 months of
finalization of Agreement with South Kitsap
Mall owner, Buck Gehring, to allow ingress and
egress to be combined for the two sites,
eliminating a need for another access onto
SR160.

Range 1 East, W. M., in Kitsap County, Washington, described as
follows: Beginning at the intersection of the East line of said
subdivision with the Southerly margin of State ILighway No. 14
right of way and.running thence West along said Southerly margin
132 feet to the true point -of beginning;'thence South 320 feet;
thence West 132 feet; thence North 320 feet to said Southerly
margin; thence East along said Southerly margin 132 feet to
the true point of beginning, situate in Kitsap County, Washington.

North, Range 1 East, W. M., described as follows: Beginning
at the intersection of the East line of the Northeast quarter
of the Northwest quarter of said Section 36, with the South
margin of State Road No. 14; thence South along the East line
of said Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, 660 feet;
thence West 132 feet; thence North 660 feet to the South line
of said State Road No. 14; thence East along said South line
132 feet to the point of beginning, situated in Kitsap County,
Washington.
