3. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Crystal Robinette, Miss Kitsap Fair & Stampede 2002, representative of the Kitsap Fair and Rodeo.
b. Lodging Tax Advisory Board recommendation to re-allocate $3,000 from the Hotel/Motel Revenue Special
Projects Account to the Fathoms O’ Fun to fund advertising and promotion of the 2002 festival.
4. OLD BUSINESS:
a. Letter from Roy Carr representing Sidney Museum and Arts Association (Finance Committee 6/10/02)
b. Proposed Telecommunications Ordinance (Telecommunications Committee 4/22/02)
c. Call for Bids – 5/9/02 regarding purchase of Membrane Bioreactor System (City Engineer 5/13/02)
d. Proposed Resolution regarding Council action on reconsideration of SUP1021. Hold over to July 22
Council meeting at request of property owners’ attorney.
e. Proposed Ordinance No. 1862 regarding the parking of commercial vehicles in residential and mixed use
zones. (Street Committee 6/24/02)
5. CONSENT AGENDA Items listed below are considered routine business. Individual documents have been (or will be) distributed to Councilmembers in
advance for study and will be enacted by one motion. If separate discussion is desired on an item, that item may be removed from
the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item of business at the request of a Councilmember.
a. Minutes of the June 24, 2002 regular City Council meeting, as corrected and distributed.
b. Approval of Claim Warrants.
c. Proposed Resolution No. 1984 approving the issuance of a Conditional use permit to the First Lutheran
Church for property located at 2486 Mitchell Avenue.
d. Proposed Ordinance No. 1864 amending Chapter 15.08 of the POMC adopting the 2000 Uniform Plumbing
Code.
e. Proposed Ordinance No. 1865 amending Chapter 15.44 of the POMC adopting the 2000 Washington State
Energy Code and the Washington State Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Code.
f. Authorization to declare and dispose of miscellaneous bicycles and firearms from the Police Department.
