NEW BUSINESS: a. 7:35 PM Public Hearing regarding anticipated 2002 city budget revenue sources, as required by Chapter 251, Laws of State of Washington 1995. b. Mary McClure, KRCC discussion on 2002 Legislative Agenda c. Proposed Grant of Easement and Road Maintenance Agreement between several property owners including the City of Port Orchard. d. Proposed Ordinance No. 1835 amending POMC 9.30.050 (a portion of Ordinance No. 1724) regarding types of nuisances specifically to grass or weeds exceeding twelve inches in height. 4. OLD BUSINESS: a. TABLED MOTION: Proposed Resolution No. 1940 expressing the Council’s intent to increase the annual tax levy, if the City of Port Orchard is annexed into Kitsap County Fire Protection District No. 7, until it has been determined when the city could consider implementing an increase of the annual tax levy and also until the issue of the annexation into the Fire District has been resolved. (Motion to table by Councilman Geiger, seconded by Councilman Stansbery – 7/9/01) b. Proposal to revise the city’s tree ordinance to provide for protection of old growth trees. (Growth Management Committee 8/28/01) c. Proposed Ordinance No. 1827 regarding signs in public right of ways, and political signs, and amending Port Orchard Municipal Code Sections 15.16.020(3), 15.16.150(2) and 15.16.160(1). (Street/Alley Committee 9/10/01) d. Proposed Ordinance No. 1828 establishing the Port Orchard Police Rotational Tow List and adopting rules and regulations for eligibility and participation. (Replaces Resolution 1629) (Finance Committee 9/24/01) e. Proposed Ordinance No. 1831 amending POMC 2.28.020 and 2.28.030 to update city attorney duties and form of compensation statutes.
