3. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Welcome Japanese Exchange students
b. Bill Hahn, Kitsap Co. PUD #1 to discuss public utility district activities.
c. Confirm Mayor Weatherill’s appointment of Loren Combs, McGavick Graves as city attorney effective April
1,2000, and authorize mayor to sign Memo of Agreement.
d. 7:35 PM Public Hearing regarding a request to develop a 63 lot proposed subdivision (Flower Meadows) on
18.76 acres with a total of 63 single family dwelling units, as submitted by Chuck Childress, owner and
applicant. It is currently developed with 4 single-family homes.
e. South Kitsap Babe Ruth League request for renewal of real property lease, Public Property Committee
recommendation is to approve and authorize Mayor to sign lease document(s).
4. OLD BUSINESS:
a. Vegetation blocking view on Farragut Avenue. (Street/Alley Committee 3/13/00)
b. Review and recommendation regarding proposal to reclassify the Code Enforcement/Associate Planner
position (Personnel/Finance Committee, 3/13/00) (Staff report to Finance Committee attached)
