To Honor Ms. Doris Nilsen for her Long Life and ProsperityPROCLAMATION
WHEREAS: Doris Nilsen is celebrating her l00th birthday today; and
WHEREAS: longevity of life is a blessing for an individual and for a community
which benefits from the knowledge, creativity, and experiences individuals bring to
all; and
WHEREAS: the city of Port Orchard recognizes with respect and admiration
the contribution of senior citizens to our community;
WHEREAS: the United States has the greatest number of centenarians in the
world, and today Ms. Nilsen should be honored for 100 years on this earth; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE tT RESOTVED that l, Robert Putaansuu, Mayor of the
City of Port Orchard, do hereby proclaim:
