PORT ORCHARD AUTHORIZING THE
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY. OF PORT ORCHARD ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT AND THE KITSAP COUNTY
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FOR
EXTENSIVE WORK ON SROUFE STREET
BETWEEN SIDNEY AVENUE AND WEST
AVENUE - 1977 .
WHEMEAS, the City of Port Orchard recognizes
the need and desirability to enter into.an agreement
with the Kitsap County Engineering Department for a portion
of the work on Sroufe Street from Sidney Avenue to West
Avenue and;
WHEREAS, funding approval has been received from
Jim Bahler, Washington State.Highway Department;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
of the City of Port Orchard, Washington as follows:
THAT, the City of Port Orchard proposes to do
extensive work on Sroufe Street from Sidney Avenue to West
Avenue as follows:
1. City prepare roadway by removing
existing paving, grading, drainage
and contour.
2. County - pave Sroufe (Sidney to
Tacoma Avenue), 925' L X 30' W and
Sroufe (Tacoma thru west Ave.)
350' L X 22' W. Not to exceed
$10,000.00.
3 By contract - construct curb,
gutter and sidewalk along the
northside of Sroufe Street between
Sidney and Tacoma Avenues and curb,
gutter, and sidewalk along the
southside of Sroufe between Tacoma
and West Avenues.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the
Mayor this 13th day of June, 1977
