1140 - Resolution - Hearing on Petition to Vacate Portion of Port StreetRESOLUTION NO. 1140 A RESOLUTION of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, fixing the hearing on a petition for a vacation of a portion of Port Street. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, as follows: That a hearing on the petition for vacation of a portion of Port Street further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Tuesday,.November 12, 1974 at 8:00 P.M. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington: That part of Port Street in the City of Port Orchard, Washington, as shown on the Plat of "SIDNEY TIDELANDS" according to Plat record in the office of the Commissioner of Public Lands, Olympia, Washington, described as,follows: Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 1, Block 11, of said Plat; thence southeasterly along the westerly line of said Lot 1, and along the easterly right-of-way margin of Port Street a distance of 70.00 ft. to the southwesterly corner of said Lot 1; thence westerly along an extension of the southerly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 11.99 ft. to a point on a line lying parallel with and 10.00 ft. westerly of (as measured at right angles to) the easterly margin of Port Street; thence northwesterly along said parallel line 61.35 ft. to a point on the southwesterly extension of the northwesterly line of said Block 11; thence northeasterly 10.20 ft. along said extension to the point of beginning. Comprising an area of 0.015 acres. The petitioner is the owner of an interest in real estate abutting on the above described area. The petitioners constitutes more than two-thirds of the owners of said portions of abutting property. WHEREFORE Petitioner prays that proceedings be had hereon for the vacation of said area of said street in the manner prescribed by RCW Chapter 35.79. PASSED this 15th day of October, 1974. Paul D.
