1129 - Resolution - Hearing on Petition to Vacate Portions of Taylor, Sweany and WestRESOLUTION NO. 1129 A RESOLUTION of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, fixing the hearing on the petition for a vacation of a portion of Tayor, Sweany and West Streets. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, Washington, as follows: That a hearing on the petition for vacation of portion of Taylor Street, Sweany Street and West Street including alleys as further described as follows, is hereby fixed for Monday, March 11, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, Washington: All of Taylor Street, situate between Blocks 6 and 7, and the alley in Block 6, Replat of Central Addition to Sidney, all of Sweany Street situate between Blocks 3 and 6, Replat of Central Addition to Sidney, and West Street where it abuts Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 6, Replat of Central Addition to Sidney, subject to an easement for utilities 20 feet in width, 10 feet on each side of the centerline of the proposed vacated portions of Taylor and Sweany Streets, all situate in the City of Port Orchard. Each of the petitioners is the owner of an interest in real estate abutting on the above described area. The petitions are.all the owners of property abutting on said area. The petitioners constitute more than two-thirds of the owners of said portions of abutting property. "WHEREFORE Petitioners pray that proceedings be had hereon for the vacation of said area of said streets and alley in the manner prescribed by RC'14 Chapter 35.79.
