A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIxY OF
PORT ORCHARD APPROVING THE SPECIAL LEVY Fai THE
PROPOSED COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOL AND URGING THE
SUPPORT OF THE CITIZENS OF PORT ORCHID.
WHEREAS, a special levy will be on the ballot on
November 11, 1969, for the voters residing in the area compris-
ing South Kitsap School District No. 402, for the approval of
funds necessary to construct a community swimming pool; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard
has reviewed this proposition and the plans relative to the'con-
struction of said swimming pool; now, therefore,
BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS, RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council does hereby approve of the plan
for the construction of the proposed community swimming pool as
projected by the Port Orchard Kiwanis Club, and the method of
financing the same, and urges the support of the citizens of
Port Orchard in voting favorably thereon.
