A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, I
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE STREET
PROGRAM FOR THE ENSUING SIX CALENDAR YEARS,
PURSUANT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 27
OF CHAPTER 83, LAWS OF 1967, EXTRAORDINARY
SESSION.
WHEREAS, Section 27 of Chapter 83, Laws of 1967, Extraordinary
Session, requires the preparation and adoption of a comprehensivestreet
program for the ensuing six calendar years which is to be filed with the
Director of Highways not more than thirty days after its adoption; and
WHEREAS, such a comprehensive street program has been pre-
pared for the City of Port Orchard divided into two parts, as follows:
Six -year comprehensive arterial street program
Six -year urban arterial street program; and
WHEREAS, the said comprehensive program has been considered
at a public hearing held by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard on
August 26, 1968, after notice to the press and radio that the same was to
be considered; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard has updated
the comprehensive street .program which was adopted on August 26, 1968,
a s required by law, and said program i s now ready f or adoption a s the com -
prehensive street program for the City of Port Orchard;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard
does hereby resolve as follows:
That the comprehensive street program which has been prepared
pursuant to the requirements of Section 27 of Chapter 83, Laws of 1967,
Extraordinary Session, and divided into two parts, as follows:
Six -year comprehensive arterial street program
Six -year urban arterial street program

for the City of Port Orchard for the ensuing six calendar years, and the
