RESOLUTION NO. 1059 �
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF PORT
ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, CONCURRING IN AND ADOPTING A
CERTAIN MAP OUTLINING THE ARTERIAL . STREET SYSTEM
FOR THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD.
WHEREAS, a thorough review has been completed of the city street
system of the City of Port Orchard, taking into account the Standards for
Functional Classification of Urban Arterials dated May L, 1968, of the -
Washington State Highway Department, and as a result a certain map has
been prepared dated June 6, 1968, setting forth the results of this review
and survey; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard deems it
appropriate to adopt said map outlining and updating the Urban Arterial
System of the City of Port Orchard;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard
does hereby resolve as follows:
That it does hereby concur in the Functional Classification of Urban
Arterials in the City of Port Orchard, as defined in the Urban Arterial
Board Standards for Functional Classification of Urban Arterials, and as
outlined on a map approved by Mr. T. P. Fitzmorris, District Engineer, and
officials of -the City of Port Orchard, dated June. 6, lQW
