A RESOLUTION OF THE (I'T-Y OF PORT ORCHARi),
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A COMPREHIL NSIVE STR EE�T
PROGRAM FOR THE ENSUING SIX CALENi;AR YEARS,
PURSUANT TO -?-FIE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 27/
OF CHAPTER 83, LAWS OF 1967, EXTRAORI,iNAiZY
SESSION.
WHEREAS, Section 27 of Chapter- 83, 1_,aws of 1907, Extraordinary
Session, requires the preparation and adoption of a eorriprehensive street
program for the ensuing six calendar years which is to be filed with thy
Director of Highways not more than thirty days after its adoption; and
WHEREAS, such a comprehensive street program has been
prepared for the City of Port Orchard divided inro two parts, as follows:
Six -year comprehensive arterial street program
Six -year urban arterial street program; and
WHEREAS, the said comprehensive program has been considered
at a public hearing held by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard on
August 26, 1968, after notice to the press and radio that the same was to
be considered; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard has
considered the said comprehensive plan and is now ready to adopt the
same as the comprehensive street program for the City of Port Orchard;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Orchard
does hereby resolve as follows:
That the comprehensive street program which has been prepared
pursuant to the requirements of Section 27 of Chapter 83, Laws of 1967,
Extraordinary Session, and divided into two parts, as follows:
Six -year comprehensive arterial street program
Six -year urban arterial street program
be, and the same hereby is, adopted as the comprehensive street program
for the City of Port Orchard for the ensuing six calendar years, and the
same shall be filed with the Director of Highways of the State of Washington
not more than thirty days from the date of this Resolution.
