A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD
ACCEPTING THE JUSTICE COURT DISTRICTING
PLAN AND APPOINTING THE HONORABLE
GERARD N. FISHER AS MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE
FOR THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1040, previously adopted by the
City of Port Orchard, indicated that the City adopted the proposed Justice
Court Districting Plan dated September 27, 1966; and
WHEREAS, the Justice Court Districting Plan was changed
subsequent to September 27, 1966, so that only one full time Justice of
the Peace is available to the City of Port Orchard rather than two; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard at all times has intended
and does intend to still accept the Justice Court Districting Plan, despite
the aforesaid change; Now, 'Therefore,
BE IT AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Port Orchard that the Justice Court Districting Plan, as amended,
is accepted and adopted retroactive to the date of its formulation, and the
Honorable Gerard N. Fisher is appointed as Municipal Court Judge for
the Citv of Port Orchard, effective from said time.
