A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD,
AGREEING TO COMPLY WITH CERTAIN CONDITIONS
SHOULD A FEDERAL GRANT BE AUTHORIZED UNDER
PROJECT NO. WS-6-48-0029.
The City Council of the City of Port Orchard hereby resolves as
follows:
That if a Federal Grant should be made for Project No. WS-6-48-0029
pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended (33 U. S. C.
466 et seq), the City of Port Orchard will pay the remaining costs of the approved
project, and the City of Port Orchard will provide proper- and efficient operation
and maintenance of the approved project after completion of the construction
thereof. Furthermore, the City of Port Orchard agrees to comply with Title VI
of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Public Law 88-352) and the regulations issued
pursuant thereto and states that the assurance of compliance with such regulation
(HEW -Form 441) which is attached applies to this project. The City of Port
Orchard also agrees to comply with the requirements of Executive Order 11246,
pertaining to equal employment opportunities in Federal assisted construction
projects.
