A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD DECLARING
ONE SPECIAL HOLIDAY`; DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER,
19650 AND ONE SPECIAL HOLIDAY DURING THE MONTH OF
JANUARY, 1966.
WHEREAS, Christmas Day, 1965 and New Years Day, 1966 fall
on a Saturday, and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the day preceding each of
these two holidays should be declared as a special holiday for all
City employees, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port
Orchard as follows:
That Friday, December 24, 1965 and Friday, December 31, 1965,
are hereby declared to be special holidays for all employees of the
City of Port Orchard.
