1003 - Resolution - Vacation of Portion of Division StreetRE SOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the town council of
the Town of Port Orchard requesting that the town council vacate that
area of Division Street lying south of Lot 1, Block 6, Plat of Annapolis,
Kitsap County, Washington, and north of the center line of Division Street
and running a distance of approximately one -hundred feet east and west
on Division Street; and
WHEREAS said petition has.been signed by owners of more than
two thirds of the property abutting upon the part of said street sought
to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the town council desires that at hearing be held
upon said petition pursuant to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the.town council of the Town
of Port Orchard,that a hearing be held upon the said petition on Monday,
October 9, 1961, in the town council chambers, Town Hall, Port Orchard,
Washington, at 7:30 P.M.
