1005 - Resolution - Bay Street Speed LimitBE IT, AM IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Port Orchard, that the maximum speed limit on primary State Highway #14,
comoniy known as "Bay Street", at both the east and west approaches to the
City of Port Orchard, is established at a speed of 35 miles per hour, the
said areas commencing and terminating as follows:
(1) West City Limits: Beginning at the west City limits
of the City of Port Orchard which is a point 0.33 miles
west of the intersection of West Street and Primary State
Highway No. 14 and extending in an easterly direction along
Primary State Highway No. 14 for distance of 0.29 miles.
(2) East City Limits: Beginning at a point 0.15 miles
south of the intersection of Bay and Maple Streets with
Primary State Highway No. 14 and extending in a southerly
direction along Primary State Highway No. 14 for a distance
of 0.42 miles which point is the east City limits of the
City of Port Orchard.
