447 - Resolution - Improvement of Water Supply!�T J , W P $ESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED By the Tow! Council of Port Orchard: First. That it is the intMtion of tha Town Council to order an improvement a of the water .supply of said town by constructing on Lot 1, Block 8, Plat of Sidney, Kiisap county, Washingtcn, 60,000 gallon fir tank with necessary foundation and cover, building a puml house, installing therein a coal oil driv- en 15 h.p. centrifugal pump, together' with necessary pipes, connections and incidentals, for pumping,the water from the well located upon said premises to the tanks as now situated near Sidney and Kendall streets, in said town, and the payment for and installation of 100 water meters, in accordance with plans ,and specifications to be prepared there- for, and filed with the Clerk of said town, said improvement to be made at an estimated cost of $6,000.00. Second. That it is proposed by this �aouncil to 'create an enlarged distract ,to pay the whole cost of said improve- the limit of which district shall _ment, coincide with the corporate limits of .the town of Port Orchard; and to assess .each lot, tract or parcel of land located 'within said district, in proportion to the special benefits conferred upon said property by reason of such improve- ment according to law. Third. That it is proposed to make the assessments for said improvement to be levied as aforesaid, payable in two annual installments, with interest at the rate of 7 per .cent per annum on alli .unpaid amounts. and to issue warrants on bonds therefor payableout of said�l district. Fourth. That all persons who, may desire to object to said improvement are hereby notified to appear and pre- sent such objections at the regular meeting of the council at the town hall of Port orchard. Washington, on the Sth day of July, A. D. 1918. at the hour of 14:30 o'clock p. in., of said day, which is hereby fixed :as the time and place for hearing said objections. Fifth. That the town Clerk, with such assistance as may be necessary by a civil ongineer to be employed for such purpose, is hereby* directed to sub- mit to said town council at or prior to the date fixed. as aforesaid, for the naming of any objection to said propos- ed improvement, and specifica- together tions therefor. with all other data required by law.
