030-09 - Sound Law Center, LLC - Contract Amendment 2SECOND AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT
This Second Amendment of Contract is made by and between the City of Port
Orchard (the "City") and Sound Law Center, LLC (the "Contractor").
Whereas, on March 12, 2oo8, the City entered into a professional services
agreement (the "Contract") with Sound Law Center, LLC for Hearing Examiner services
for the period April 1, 20o8 through March 31, 2009; and
Whereas, on April 28, 2009, the parties entered into an Amendment of
Contract which extended Sound Law Center, LLC's term as the City's Hearing Examiner
through March 31, 2014; and
Whereas, the parties now desire that Sound Law Center, LLC continue as the
City's Hearing Examiner for an additional five-year term through March 31 2019; now,
therefore,
It is agreed:
1. Contractor hereby agrees to perform the services and fulfill the duties of the
office of the Hearing Examiner for the City of Port Orchard.
2. The Contractor hereby agrees to the hourly rate of the Hearing Examiner of
$175•
3. Contractor's term as Hearing Examiner is hereby extended through March 31,
2019.
4. Except as otherwise provided herein all of the terms and conditions of the
Contract shall remain in full force and effect.
