A RESOLUTTON OF THE CtW OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHTNGTON, REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 005.18 COUNCIL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS AND
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ADOPTING NEW COUNCIT COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS.
WHEREAS the City of Port Orchard is governed by an elected Mayor and seven City
Council members; and
WHEREAS, the City Council established certain select committees to serve and
recommend policy to the full Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council every two years updates committee assignments by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has designated new assignments and wishes to repea! Resolution
No. 005-18, in its entirety; now, therefore,
THE CIW COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOTLOWS:
THAT: Resolution No. 005-L8, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
THAT: The following Counci! committees are hereby continued or established:
THAT: lmplementation of the new committee structure is effective January L8,2020.
THAT: During the first meeting of each committee, the committee shall nominate the chair of
the committee and define the responsibilities of the committee.
THAT: Outside agencies are assigned as follows:
