Once they have been addressed/resolved, we can move forward with updating your online code. Thanks, Julie Good afternoon, Brandy - I am working on your current update, and a few items came up; please see the attached document. Once these questions have been addressed/resolved, we can move forward with updating your online code. Thanks for your help, Julie Stebbins Editor Code Publishing Company A General Code Company codebook.com 1800.551.2633 nrfi f117-73 1. 15.28.100, Hydrant obstructions, is laid out in the ordinance, but does not indicate any changes by underline or strike -through. Was this section meant to be included in the ordinance? We have included it and added the ordinance to its legislative history. Please let us know if something else was intended. 2. 20.80.060(2) is amended, and is followed by a dedication form (not included in the ordinance amendments) which reads, in part: "Know All Men by these presents that we, the undersigned owners..." Since this is part of a form/certificate, should the underlined text be changed to "persons"? For now, we have left it as is. 3. There were several instances within the code where the amended words/titles were overlooked (and not listed in the ordinance); we have changed and included them in this update. We identified the sections and treated them as scrivener's errors pursuant to Section 10 of the ordinance and did not add the ordinance to the legislative histories of the sections listed below, but we can do so if the city wants. (2.04.210, 3.52.040(2), 3.56.030, 3.84.030(4) and (5), 5.08.060, 5.28.120, 9.24.050(3)(a), 20.80.040(4) and 20.210.050(4)) From: Debbie Lund To: Jenine Floyd Cc: Brandy Wallace Subject: RE: Ord. 017-23 (360207) Date: Monday, July 24, 2023 12:56:41 PM Attachments: 360207 Port Orchard Ouestions.odf Jenine and Brandy, see my responses below. #3 needs your attention as I'm not sure the appropriate protocol for the names/titles I missed in the Ordinance (which does allow us to make additional changes, knowing that I'd miss some, but embarrassed that I missed this many..... questions from Code Publishing on attached PDF) Q1. 15.28.100.
