THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRA T W TH GEOENG NEERS, INC. FOR THE
BAY STREET PEDESTR AN PATHWAY PROJECT NEPA UPDATE.
WHEREAS, in September 20L9, WSDOT H&LP's informed the City of Port Orchard that
the Bay Street Pedestrian Pathway Project NEPA would need to be updated; and
WHEREAS, the City of Port Orchard staff reviewed the Consultant Roster and selected
GeoEngineers as the most qualified firm; and
WHEREAS, on December 20,2OL9, GeoEngineers, lnc. provided the City with an updated
Local Agency A&E Professional Services Cost Plus Fixed Fee Consultant Agreement for the Bay
Street Pedestrian Pathway Project - NEPA Update for submittal to WSDOT H&LP's; and
WHEREAS, the Port Orchard City Council, at the 2015 recommendation of the State
Auditor's Office, wishes to document their consultant selection process as described above for
this particular contract by Resolution; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNC L OF THE C TY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASH NGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLTOWS:
THAT: The Port Orchard City Council approves a Contract with GeoEngineers, lnc. for the Bay
Street Pedestrian Pathway Project NEPA Update and adopts the "Whereas" statements
contained herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested
by the CIerk in authentication of such passage this L4th day of January 2020.
