A RESOTUT ON OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASH NGTON, ADOPT NG
THE 2O2O C TY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO POMC 2.04.010
MEET NG T ME AND PIACE.
WHEREA$ on July 11, 2OL7, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 026-17 which adopted
the classification of non-charter code city for the City of Port Orchard; and
WHEREAS, certain updates of the Port Orchard Municipal Code were needed; and
WHEREAS, on October 24, 20L7, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 038-17 which
amends certain provisions of Chapter 2.04.010 Meeting Time and Place by stating the city council
shall hold a minimum of one meeting per month. The city council shall determine the annual
schedule for these meetings for the next calendar year no Iater than the last regular business
meeting of the preceding calendar year; and
WHEREAS, City Council typically will meet for regular business meetings the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of each month, with a work study meeting the 3rd Tuesday of each month; now,
therefore,
THE C TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASH NGTON, HEREBY RESOTVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The 2020 city council meeting calendar shall be adopted, and meetings shall be held on:
January L4th,21rtt,and 28th.
February 11th, 18th, and 25th.
March 1oth, 17th , 24'n.
April L4th, 2L'r, and 28th.
May l-2th, 19th, and 25th.
June 9th, 16th, and 23'd.
July L4th, zL't, and 28th.
August 11th and 18th.
September 8th, 15th, and22nd.
October 13th, 20th , and 27th.
November 10th, !7th, 24th.
December 8th and 15th.

by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 17th day of December 2019.\
