018-19 - Resolution - Confirming Mayoral Appointment to the Planning Commission for a VacancyRESOTUTTON NO.018-19
WHEREAS, the City was notified by Mr. Marcus Lane that he will be resigning from the
Planning Commission, as he will be moving out of the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lane's term expires December 37, 2022, and pursuant to RCW
35.63.030, when a vacancy occurs it shall be filled by the unexpired term; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to RCW 35.63.020, the appointment is by the Mayor with
confirmation by the City Council; and
WHERAS, The Mayor is appointing Mr. Phillip King to the Planning Commission with an
u nexpired term of Decemb er 37,2022; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIT OF THE CIW OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOIVES AS FOLTOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm
the appointment of Mr. Phillip King for an unexpired term of December
37,2022to the Pla n n ing Commission.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 9th day of July 2019.
