A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, SUPPORTING
THE CIRCUIT OF THE NORTHWEST TRACK PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Port Orchard City Council expresses full support of the Circuit of the
Northwest Track project; and
WHEREAS, the project will be on 232 acres of Port of Bremerton property, located in
Bremerton; and
WHEREAS, this project will provide a solid platform for growth for the Port of Bremerton
and surrounding areas. It will complement the area's growth plan and help fill land slated for
development; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes upon completion of this project will increase tourism,
recreation, and jobs, now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard supports the Circuit of the
Northwest Track Project.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12th day of June 2018.
