A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON CONFIRMING
MAYORAL APPOINTMENT TO THE LODGING TAX ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor is authorized by RCW 67.28.1817 to review the membership of
the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee annually and to make changes as appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the committee membership and recommends the
following appointments; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard approves of the Mayor's
recommendations for representatives from the Cedar Cove Inn and Mrs.
Howe's Bed and Breakfast as businesses required to collect the tax; and the
Chamber of Commerce and the Arthritis Foundation-Jingle Bell Run as
organizations involved in activities; to serve on the Lodging Tax Advisory
Committee.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 13th day of June 2017.
