A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING THE LODGING TAX ADVISORY COMMITTEE'S
RECOMMENDATION FOR 2018 FUNDING ALLOCATION.
WHEREAS, on August 18, 2017, notice was sent that the City was accepting
proposals for Hotel/Motel Lodging Tax funding applications for 2018; and
WHEREAS, proposals were due to the City Clerk no later than September 5, 2017;
which 13 applications were received; and

WHEREAS, on September 22, 2017, the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee met with
each of the applicants who presented their proposals; and
WHEREAS, on October 16, 2017, the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee met to
review the applications and provide their recommendations to City Council; and
WHEREAS, during the October 24, 2017, regular business meeting, City Council
reviewed the 2018 Lodging Tax Advisory Committee's recommendations; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council accepts the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee's 2018
lodging tax recommendations as follows:
