A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON CONFIRMING MAYORAL
APPOINTMENTS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION, CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION, DESIGN
REVIEW BOARD, BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS, AND ANIMAL CONTROL APPEAL BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Mayor is authorized to appoint volunteers to fill expired or vacant terms
on the various boards and commissions, upon confirmation of the City Council; and
WHERAS, the following boards and commissions have expiring terms; now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm the re
appointment of Trish Tierney for a four-year term expiring December 31, 2021; and
appointment of David Bernstein to fill an unexpired term expiring December 31, 2019,
to the Planning Commission.
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm the
appointment of Jerry Childs for a six-year term expiring December 31, 2023, to the Civil
Service Commission.
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm the
appointment of Ken Kambich for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2020; and
appointment of Dave Jeffcoat to fill an unexpired term expiring December 31, 2019; to
the Design Review Board.
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm the re
appointment of Sean Hoynes for a five-year term expiring December 31, 2022, to the
Building Boards of Appeal.
THAT: The City Council of the City of Port Orchard does hereby confirm the re
appointments of Dr. Nancy Isbell and Lorraine Olson for a three-year term expiring
December 31, 2020, to the Animal Control Appeal Board.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12th day of December 2017.
