A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING A
BID AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A MID SIZE CODE ENFORCEMENT
TRUCK
WHEREAS, The City of Port Orchard Department of Community Development budgeted for
a new Code Enforcement Vehicle in its 2016 Budget; and
WHEREAS, on January 27, 2016, the City invited 12 dealerships to bid on a truck meeting
the city's specifications; and
WHEREAS, The City received four (4) compete bid submittals; and
WHEREAS, Advantage Nissan in Bremerton submitted the lowest responsive bid totaling
$28,498.11 including applicable sales tax; and
WHEREAS, The City finds the bid amount to be within the funding allocations of the
2016 Budgeted; now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council of Port Orchard accepts the mid size code enforcement pickup
truck bid as submitted by Advantage Nissan in an amount not to exceed $28,498.11 including
sales tax and authorizes the purchase of the vehicle pursuant to the accepted bid.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 9th day of February 2016.
