Festival of Chimes and Lights
Committee Minutes
Monday, October 30, 2017; 3:30 p.m. at City Hall
Members present: Chair Lucarelli and City staff Jenine Floyd. Guests present: Sharron King and Helene
Jensen, Fathoms O’ Fun Festival, Inc; Kathleen Wilson, POBSA; and Gus Housen, Gordon Sound.
Tour of Clock Tower
Chair Lucarelli mentioned the tour of the clock tower would be at the end of the meeting.
Chair Lucarelli, Helene Jensen, and Sharron King discussed involvement of Fathoms O’ Fun and the
Royalty Court during the Festival.
Misc. Updates
The committee discussed the Pooch N’ Purr Parade; confirmation of Santa; responsibility of firepits and
wood; tents, setup, and sandbags for the Jingle Bell Run, Festival and choirs; scheduled events at the
library; crane availability for the tree and delivery; and noted the brochures are almost completed.
Sound System
Chair Lucarelli said we will move forward with using Gordon Sound for the sound system. The
committee briefly discussed set-up and times. Mr. Housen noted he will be using a new sound system
this year.
There being no further business, Chair Lucarelli adjourned the meeting at 4:09 p.m. Audio-only
recording was successful.
