After a brief discussion, Chair Lucarelli said advertising dollars are best spent closer to the event and informing the public of the tree contest sponsors. The committee and guests discussed various locations that brochures could be distributed including Gig Harbor, Belfair, and the foot ferry. 2019 Theme Chair Lucarelli provided several theme ideas to the committee. The committee and guests discussed the options and agreed on Christmas by the Bay. Staff Rinearson said she is working on the resolution which approves collecting funds for the tree contest. She still needs to get together with Finance and then it will go before Council for adoption.
