Committee Minutes
Monday, November 16, 2020; 3:30 p.m.
Members present via remote access: Chair Lucarelli and City staff Floyd. Guests present via remote
access: Sharron King, Fathoms O’ Fun; Rita, a Port Orchard citizen, Sandy Jennings, Soroptimist; and
Kathy Garcia, Port of Bremerton.
Continued: 2020 Event Discussion
Chair Lucarelli said the big tree for City Hall will be brought in tomorrow.
Additional discussion was held regarding lighting, advertising, lighted boats, photo release form and
permissions to use photos, virtual run, Rocks of Cheer, and judging of holiday photos by City Council to
be held during the first Council meeting in January 2021,
Downtown Tree Decorating Contest Update
Chair Lucarelli noted all the trees are now sponsored.
Additional discussion was held regarding planter numbers, connecting trees to power, tree judging has
been changed to December 2 with results posted to the City’s website on December 5, and tree
sponsor advertisement.
There being no further business, Chair Lucarelli adjourned the meeting at 3:59 p.m. Audio/Visual
recording was successful.
