A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT (CONTRACT 046-15)
FOR THE ANDASIO VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT WITH OAKRIDGE
HOMES, AMENDING THE CONDITIONS IMPOSED ON THE ANDASIO
VILLAGE PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL BY THE KITSAP
COUNTY HEARING EXAMINER, TO ADDRESS THE EXAMINER'S
FAILURE TO TAILOR SUCH CONDITIONS TO THE DIRECT
IMPACTS OF THE ANDASIO VILLAGE PRELIMINARY PLAT,
EXTENDING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL EXPIRATION
UNTIL 2017, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Kitsap County Hearing Examiner approved the Andasio Village
preliminary plat, imposing conditions to mitigate the direct impacts of both the Andasio Village
and Blueberry Ridge preliminary plats; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the Blueberry Ridge preliminary plat has not developed it and
now that the property has been annexed to the City, the owner of the Andasio Village
preliminary plat desires to have the conditions of preliminary plat approval modified to address
only the direct impacts of the Andasio Village preliminary plat on the City; and
WHEREAS, on February 24, 2015, the City held a public hearing on the First
Amendment to the Development Agreement, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
THAT: The City Council hereby approves the Development Agreement (C046-15) by
and between the City of Port Orchard and Oakridge Homes for the Andasio Village preliminary
plat and authorizes the Mayor to sign the First Amendment.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, SIGNED by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage on this 24t' day of March, 2015.
