039-05 - Resolution - Updating Salary Step Schedule of Public Service Officer-Parking EnforcementRESOLUTION NO. 039-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON UPDATING THE SALARY STEP SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC SERVICE OFFICER-PARKING ENFORCEMENT. WHEREAS, it is necessary for the city to periodically review the duties and responsibilities of all employment positions; and WHEREAS, the employment position of Public Service Officer -Parking Enforcement has been reviewed and based upon the current job duties and level of responsibility it is determined that it is appropriate to update the salary schedule for this position based upon comparable cities with similar positions; and WHEREAS, the salary step schedule as set forth below has been reviewed by the City Council Finance/Personnel Committee and is respectfully submitted with a recommendation for approval; now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ORCHARD, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: THAT: Effective January 1, 2006 the following revised salary step schedule is provided for the position of Public Service Officer -Parking Enforcement. Entry on the salary step schedule is subject to experience level. Advancement through these steps is not to be considered automatic, but will be subject to satisfactory job performance: First 6 months of employment After 6 months of employment After 1 year of employment After 2 years of employment After 3 years of employment After 4 years of employment After 5 years of employment Hourly rate 13.45 13.91 14.37 14.83 15.26 15.75 16.20 PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Orchard, APPROVED by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk in authentication of such passage this 12'h day of December 2005.
